I'm getting a strange crackling / popping noise with my SoundPlicity kit?

In 99% of cases, this is the result of the input gain on your SoundPlicity being set too high.  Fortunately, the SoundPlicity Control:II and Control:III have adjustable gain settings, which means that you can adjust these levels.

Here's how to correct the input gain:
  1. Select your Control:III as the source on your radio.
  2. Within the first 5 seconds of selecting the Control:III, press DISC 3 on your radio.
  3. Press TRACK UP / TRACK DOWN (Left and right arrows: < >) to adjust the volume level.
  4. Select FM as your source, then go back to the Control:III and test your music.  Repeat steps 1-3 until you've found the right setting and the "crackling" noise is no longer present.

what about the buzzing static sound from the dash scrolling feature? Has that been fixed yet? I have a dice media bridge and I still stuffer from the static scrolling sounds with mine... maybe time to purchase this new model if it has been fixed.
